FAQ
Selling to Damtrade: common questions
Do you pay cash?
No. We pay by bank transfer. In Belgium, cash payment for scrap metal is not allowed, and bank transfer gives both sides a clear record.
Is there a minimum quantity?
For scrap, roughly one container load or a regular supply. For vehicles, machinery and IT, single items are fine if they are worth exporting. Send photos and we will tell you within a day.
Do you charge for collection?
Collection is free for loads that are worth exporting. For small or low-value loads we quote the transport cost upfront.
Do you buy in the Netherlands and Luxembourg?
Yes. We inspect and collect across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
